1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using AppCanvas ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of such modifications.

2. Use License and Commercial Rights

Starter (Free) Plan: We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use AppCanvas for non-commercial purposes only. Output images will include a watermark.

Pro Plan: Pro tier users are granted a full commercial license. You may use unwatermarked generated content for commercial purposes, including client work, app store listings, and marketing materials. You may not resell the raw templates or assets provided by AppCanvas.

3. User Content

You retain all rights to any images, assets, screenshots, or text you upload to our service ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Pro features are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via our authorized payment processor (e.g., Creem, Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Service, we generally do not offer refunds once you have upgraded and used the Pro features to export unwatermarked images. Exceptions may be made within 7 days of the initial purchase if the Service is demonstrably defective or you have not utilized any paid features. Please contact support to request a review.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to upload or generate content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, harmful to reputation, pornographic, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, racist, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

The materials on AppCanvas are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability. In no event shall AppCanvas or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service.
